Jennifer Chukwujekwe is the Founder of Jenniez School of African Interior Design, which was founded to bridge the gap in interior design education in Nigeria and raise entrepreneurs through Design She is the Creative Director of Jenniez Designs, an interior design firm which provides residential, commercial, institutional and retail design services Jennifer Chukwujekwe’s love for beautiful and organized spaces started as a child, she always rearranged her space and easily got tired of a space. This behavior continued till she got married as she always redecorated her home every December. Family and friends assumed she had OCD. It took a group of friends who visited her home to compliment her work and they made her realize she could turn her passion into a business. Her search for more knowledge led her to start an interior design blog- Jenniez Design Concept, after which she took an interior design course at the Interior Design Institute UK. Upon completion of her course, she launched Jenniez Designs offering interior design services to her valued clientele offering them an experience which makes the design build process enjoyable, timely and within budget. Her first major project as an interior designer was in six figures which boosted her confidence as a newbie in the design industry Years later she observed that individuals with a passion for interior design like herself also struggled to find a reputable interior design school in Nigeria to get formal training which would be at par with international standards. Hence, she founded Jenniez School of Africa Interior Design (JSAID) to bridge the gap in interior design education in Nigeria and raise entrepreneurs through Design. In just three years, JSAID is the first and only approved educator of interior design by Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN) and Certified Interior Decorators International Florida JSAID is proud to be an approved vocational training center by Lagos State Employment Trust Fund and grant awardee of the GIZ Project (Germany) and United States African Development Fund (USADF) She is the most celebrated and sought-after interior design business coach in Nigeria and has trained and coached over 500 design professionals. She is the pioneer of the social community called Design Club with over 256 interior designers. Her signature courses are the Pro Designers Blueprint, Design Biz Bootcamp, 21 Days Visibility Challenge and Pricing for Profit. She is also the Author of The Interior Designer’s Planner She is the Convener of the annual Blueprint Conference which is a one-day dynamic conference which brings together interior designers and design professionals together to discuss hot topics related to the design industry. She presently launched JD Furniture in order to create bespoke furniture and alleviate the issues faced by interior designers while dealing with local artisans, hence producing quality furniture in an organized system within time and budget She is a graduate of Geology with a Masters in Applied Computing and IT from the University of Bedfordshire, UK. She is also a member and the Chairman Electoral Committee of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN).
